entanglements: experiments in multimodal ethnography (ISSN 2516-5860) is a peer-feedback, open-access journal set up in March 2018. It is an experimental journal focused on the multimodal ethnographic theory and practice and is published twice a year. entanglements is published online only.
aims and scope
The journal aims to enable and encourage forms of expression and communities of practice around multimodality in a range of research topics and across disciplines and media. The editors will discuss and work with authors on the production of multimodal articles.
entanglements is an open access journal, meaning that all content published since 2018 is freely available on our website immediately upon publication. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. Users are permitted to download, save, reproduce, and transmit journal content for noncommercial, scholarly, and educational purposes. Reproduction and transmission of journal content for the above purposes should credit the author and original source. Use, reproduction, or distribution of journal content for commercial purposes requires additional permissions from the Editorial Board, which you can contact by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We do not operate any Copyright Transfer Agreements with our authors. Authors retain the rights over pre-published versions of articles, and are free to self archive pre-published versions on institutional repositories. We retain the copyright for published content, and this is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. As we publish entanglements open access, we encourage authors to also archive the published versions of their work within institutional repositories.
